SECOND LIFE

Let’s start with clarifying what Second Life is.

Second Life is a 3-D online virtual world where avatars do the kind of stuff real people do in real life: Buy stuff. Sell stuff. Gamble. Listen to music. Buy property. Play games. Watch movies and so on.

One benefit of this game is to encourage students to spend more time with technology in an educational way.

Students play the game even they are not aware of learning. You just create a new character which is called avatars and have fun with it!

When it comes to the experience that I have, I would say that it was a really different atmosphere for me as I am not used to using such games. Since the explanations are clear for me, I easily created my avatar and started to play.
